About Ken Scoggs:
Ken has enjoyed helping people for 30 years, and in 1987 he founded the North Pines Center, Inc. where he provides superior counseling, coaching and consultation. Ken has a passion for providing Short-term Psychotherapy, Cognitive Therapy, Hypnotherapy as well as Marriage & Family therapy.

Degrees & Licenses:
Ken received a BA from LaGrange College with a double major in Psychology and Social Work and a master’s degree, MSW from the University of Georgia. He has been awarded three licenses to practice in Georgia; Clinical Social Work, Professional Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy. He is also a Certified Employee Assistance Professional.

Additional Information:
Ken’s latest efforts have been helping organizations develop a strategy to control the cost of healthcare though Health Works, LLC. He recently addressed the Society of Human Resource Managers, SHRM, on the important matter.

Ken also trains therapist through the International Society for Psychotherapeutic Arts on such important issues as Professional Ethics, Pain Management, the Spirituality of Relationships, Psychotherapeutic Meditation and Death Defying Psychotherapy – Face Your Fears and Get a Life!
