Dr. Anderson has worked in many clinical settings treating families and children. He is a former collegiate athlete who now enjoys coaching high school lacrosse. Dr. Anderson received his BS in psychology with a minor in biology from Hobart College and his MS in Counselor Education from Syracuse University with a specialty in multicultural therapy. He received his Ph.D. from Loyola University, Chicago in Counseling Psychology specializing in multicultural therapy and research. He is a licensed clinical psychologist in Georgia. Additional Information Dr. Anderson has published and/or collaborated on research projects in the areas of multicultural training, assessment and treatment and is an avid presenter at conferences and workshops in the areas of cross cultural child assessment and treatment, adolescent development, and multicultural sensitivity and competence training. Mary Anne Lembo, MS, LMFT, LPCAbout Mary Anne Lembo In addition to her clinical work, she has been an adjunct psychology instructor at Georgia Perimeter College for 25 years, Mental Health Consultant for the Head Start Program at the McIntosh Trail Early Childhood Development Council, psycho-educational consultant for the Detroit Public Schools and former member of the Metro Atlanta Mental Health association Speakers Bureau. Minor: Ms. Minor maintains a full time private practice while contracting with North Pines Center, Inc. When Ms. Minor graduated from North Georgia College in 1979, she immediately went to work with the Department of Family and Children services in a rural area of north Georgia where she gained experience in working with low income families. She later worked directly with families from all income levels who were experiencing some form of physical, emotional, or verbal abuse. After her experience with DFCS, Ms. Minor gained experience working in a psychiatric unit of a hospital and in a private practice with different physicians where she worked with people from varied economic, social, cultural, and religious backgrounds. Eventually, Ms. Minor established own private practice. As a part of her private practice, Ms. Minor contracts with different employee assistance programs. Ms. Minor received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from North Georgia College in Dahlonega, GA. She received her masters degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. Rebecca has a passion for providing short-term psychotherapy, working with depression, anxiety, panic disorder, stress, grief, self- esteem and more. In addition, Rebecca enjoys working with patients helping them to improve body image, overall wellness, and weight management strategies with the use of lifestyle adjustment and hypnotherapy. In addition to providing clinical services at the North Pines Center, Rebecca continues to pursue her passion for working with groups and chronic and acute mental illness by providing services at a local Atlanta area hospital, working inpatient and in the outpatient setting facilitating groups and as a intake assessment provider.
